      KPSLB Adopt-A-Street Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast
      Date: Saturday, February 1, 2020, Time: 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
      Location: Port St. Lucie Civic Center, 9221 SE Civic Center Place
      Event Info: Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful would like to thank the Adopt-a-Street members for their hard work and dedication at this appreciation breakfast. There will be raffles and prizes. This event is to thank the volunteers for their hard work and dedication. The Awards ceremony will be at 9:45 a.m.

      KPSLB Household Hazardous Waste Collection & Tire Amnesty Day
      Date: Saturday, March 14, 2020, Time: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
      Location: Public Works Department, 450 SW Thornhill Drive
      Event Info: This event makes it easy for residents of Port St. Lucie (ID’s required) to get rid of their unwanted household chemicals and hazardous waste by providing a convenient place and time where the materials can be handed over to experts, free of charge, for proper disposal. TIRES can also be dropped off (Maximum 4 tires per vehicle – no commercial tires). Fats, Oils & Greases (F.O.G.) will also be collected.

      KPSLB Caring Community 25th Anniversary Cleanup Day
      Date: Saturday, April 4, 2020, Time: Registration at 7:30 a.m. Cleanup from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
      Location: Port St. Lucie Civic Center, 9221 SE Civic Center Place
      Event Info: Volunteers will register for the event, enjoy a free breakfast, and then be transported by bus to several locations throughout the city that are most in need of cleanup. After the cleanup, buses will bring volunteers back for free lunch, raffles and lots of fun for everyone. *ON-LINE REGISTRATION

      KPSLB Appreciation Night at First Data Field
      Date: Friday, May 8, 2020, Time: Gates open at 5:30 p.m.; game starts at 6:30 p.m.
      Location: First Data Field, 525 NW Peacock Blvd.
      Event Info: Fans who bring two nonperishable food items will receive a free ticket to the St. Lucie Mets game that night. Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful will have a booth at the front of the stadium and partner with the Treasure Coast Food Bank for the donations.

      KPSLB Drive-Thru Tree Giveaway
      Date: Saturday, May 16, 2020, Time: 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
      Location: Public Works, 450 SW Thornhill Drive
      Event Info: The City will give away an assorted variety of trees that are native to Florida. The KPSLB Committee hopes to protect native plants for future generations and encourage public awareness about the need to maintain Port St. Lucie’s natural beauty. This event is a vehicle drive-thru. Trees will be placed into resident vehicles by City staff members. NO WALK-UPS WILL BE ALLOWED. Trees are given away on a first-come, first-served basis to City of Port St. Lucie resident (ID’S REQUIRED), WHILE SUPPLIES LAST. Event ends when supply of trees run out.

      KPSLB Give-a-Tree, Spread-the-Shade Tree Giveaway
      Date: Saturday, September 12, 2020, Time: 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
      Location: Botanical Gardens, 2410 SE Westmoreland Blvd.
      Event Info: The City will give away an assorted variety of trees that are native to Florida and plants for pollinators. The KPSLB Committee hopes to protect native plants for future generations and encourage public awareness about the need to maintain Port St. Lucie’s natural beauty. Animal pollinators are needed for the reproduction of 90% of flowering plants and one third of human food crops. Pollinators include bees, butterflies, moths, beetles, flies, birds and bats. Pollinators are part of the intricate web that supports the biological diversity in natural ecosystems that helps sustain our quality of life. Trees and plants are given away on a first-come, first-served basis to City of Port St. Lucie residents (ID’s required), while supplies last.
